Walking holidays in Spain
Multifaceted Spain is a must for walkers of all persuasions. Our routes focus on “real” Spain, away from the tourist costas. For sheer grandeur none fail and you will experience also the cultural differences that each region stoutly maintains against the homogenising influence of Madrid.
From sunny Andalucia to the green Basque Pyrenees, and from Catalonia to subtropical La Gomera in the Canary Islands, we present our version of the Spanish regions as unique, independent, lively and friendly. The food and wine are delicious everywhere, and the walking special – sometimes remote, often among the villages that are the beating heart of Spain.
With warmer temperatures than many of our other routes, southern Spain is an ideal destination for walkers looking for a bit of warmth in the European winter months. Try Andalucia, Mallorca, Marina Alta or even further south to La Gomera for a dose of perfect walking weather in the winter sunshine.
